January 3, 2014

I'm already behind in the "30 Day Challenge" with Leslie Saeta.  This is my first entry.  My granddaughter gave me a fantastic present for Christmas.  It is a book that she made with ideas for painting.  I'll post some pictures of it soon, along with photos of the creative and beautiful gifts each granddaughter made.  That will be for tomorrow. 

For now here is one of her ideas and perfect for the snow that we got here in Virginia.

    Darling! But then I love snowmen. What's the name of the book? That's something I could use.

      My granddaughter made the book herself and it is filled with great ideas. Lucky me to have such creative grandchildren.

    Very nice painting and what a great gift. School was closed here too so I got two extra days in the studio! Have fun with the challenge.

      I've been retired for quite awhile and I still love snow days.
