I received some really good news today because Daily Paintworks picked my Day 7 painting for their Facebook "Pick of the Day".
Several months ago I did paintings of paint tubes with the primary colors and one with the secondary colors. I didn't want to leave out the tertiary colors so I will have to paint one more besides this one, (another idea for the paint challenge).

I like this and I especially like the way all the colors are present in the background and yet it is still neutral. I also can't pick a theme - I'm all over the place, I can't even stick to a medium! Good luck with the rest of the challenge.
ReplyDeleteThank you. You are so right, the neutral background is the three colors used in the painting. Those colors do make nice neutrals, more accidental than on purpose, but a good discovery. I went back to baby clothes for tomorrow's challenge and even though it is pastels I used those three colors again, maybe I've stumbled on a theme.
