I love painting abstracts.  Most of the others are shown on my  website 

 

My process is to have a concept before I start for the structure and design.  This time I chose a map of the area where I live just to get me started on shapes.  I think about design principles especially contrast and pattern.  Each part has to be interesting.  Usually I decide on the colors early in the process.  Since I love color so much it fun for me to put colors together.  There are some neutrals there, too.
